Lila Jasmine - Created by a Midwife, Nurse and Mum 

At Lila Jasmine Nutrition, we believe every breastfeeding mum deserves to feel supported, nourished, and confident. Founded by Renata Lardelli - registered nurse, midwife, and mother of three our brand is grounded in both clinical expertise and lived experience. We understand the highs and lows of motherhood, and we’re here to offer practical, nourishing support from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond.

Lila Jasmine was born out of a desire to empower mothers physically and emotionally. Our mission is to create simple, effective solutions that reflect the real needs of modern mums—starting with New Zealand’s only premium lactation bar.

• 2017: THE SPARK - The idea for Lila Jasmine was born after a friend dropped off home baking at our door following the arrival of our third son. The simple act of kindness lit a spark, we realised how important it was for mothers to feel supported and nourished at such a demanding time - the 4th trimester.
• 2018: DREAMT UP IN A HOT TUB - the concept for individually wrapped lactation bars took shape in the most unexpected place - a hot tub. Between the sleepless nights and chasing after three little boys, we dreamed of creating a product that made life easier [and tastier!] for busy breastfeeding mums.
• 2019: HAND-BAKED BEGINNINGS -  On Mother’s Day 2019, we sold our very first batch of hand-baked lactation bars. I’ll never forget the joy and excitement of that day, it felt like the start of something truly special. Those bars, baked late at night in our family kitchen, represented a labour of love for mothers everywhere.
• 2021: LILA JASMINE 2.0 - Balancing motherhood, work, and late-night baking eventually became too much. I was ready to quit, but Jeremy, ever the problem solver, refused to let the dream end. He found an incredible manufacturer right here in New Zealand to take over baking for us, allowing us to grow without losing the heart and quality that makes Lila Jasmine so special.

From our lactation bars to our transformative 4th trimester workshops and expert-led resources, everything we do is designed to help mums feel confident, cared for, and connected. We’re not just another lactation snack - we’re a breastfeeding support system backed by science, made with love, and trusted by thousands of Kiwi mums.
